First Erin was invited to birthday party the other weekend and with a mixture of my creating bug, my total frustration with toys and my desire to save some money I decided to make a little skirt for the present. I also made a cute matching hair flower. The total project cost like $4. This was way easy to make. If you want to make one the tutorial for it is here. If I were to make this for Erin since she is so tall I would add another tier.
I also made my MIL a Mothers Day gift. I have to apologize I don't have the finished product photo, (I might have finished making them while driving to visit on Sunday night.) But I took plain white dish towel and added a quilted border. I then had the girls draw pictures, I drew the pictures onto the towels and then embroidered them. They turned out way cute, unfortunately you only get to see the quilted edge.

how fun. I think crafting/ creating for little girls is a lot more fun than creating for little boys. Brock is only into cars and basketball. not much you can do with that.
Have fun with your felt project!
You are so talented. I love all of your fabulous projects. I wish I had even one crafting bone in my body. I try projects every now and then but I don't really enjoy it as much as I think I am going to. For my next project I am going to attempt to make batman capes for all the kids for Ethan's birthday party. Wish me luck.
I'm starting to get a little depressed looking at all your talent. :) I'm sewing challenged. I can't even figure out how to make a basic blanket for the new baby let alone find the time to make my mom help me with it.
That skirt is super cute Liz! I might have to give it a go. And what a fun mother's day gift!
I can relate to the "bitten" feeling. I love your dish towels, how creative, I may need to steal that idea!
So cute! As usual you have outdone yourself!!
